After testing out the KISS magnetic lashes, I knew I had to get more.
I was thinking of getting the same brand again, but I decided it would be cool to try out a different brand.
Luckily, one of my friends had an extra pack of the Ardell magnetic lashes.
She gave them to me because she saw my last review and thought I could get a better use out of them.
These lashes retail for $10.24, which is pretty fair price point.
Like the KISS lashes, the Ardell lashes have three magnets — two on the outside and one in the middle.
There are also two sets of lashes that are sandwiched between the natural lashes. Therefore, the pack comes with one set of lashes with two pieces for each lash.
The applicator is also pretty similar, although the Ardell applicator is smaller than the KISS one. I personally, however, prefer the KISS applicator.
I feel that the magnets really stuck on every time I tried putting on the lashes.
But with the Ardell applicator, I found some troubles. The gap in between was fairly small, so I found it harder to apply the lashes.
I also found it was harder to get the lashes to really stick together at first. Once they were on though, I didn’t have issues, but I just thought it was important to mention.
I have been using the lashes for over a week now, and I have to say, I really like these lashes.
They are bigger and thicker than the KISS lashes, which I think makes them pop better.
I also love how long they make my lashes look.
I have been using the lashes for the past ten days and none of the magnetics have fallen off yet.
This beats how long the KISS lashes lasted, which was only seven days.
Now that the lashes are ten days old, they are a bit worn out, but they are still working very nicely.
I would have to say that overall, I do like the Ardell lashes better than the KISS ones.
They are thicker and longer. And the icing on the cake is that they last longer… which means they are a better bargain for your buck.
Hi Alyssa,
This was very helpful! I have used the KISS lashes in the past and they have worked nicely but I’m always looking for new kinds. I am a fan of lashes with lots of length and volume so I’ll have to give the Ardells a try. I am also very fascinated by the concept of magnetic lashes. I have trouble with the regular old glue sometimes so I’m looking forward to trying them out; I’ve heard good things.
Hey girl
I’m loving your reviews. You now have me running to my local CVS to buy magnetic lashes today!! I’ll let you know how it turns out. Just like the comment above I can not understand the concept of magnetic lashes. But I will surly try it out. Thank you!!
