Three easy looks using the e.l.f. Mint Melt eyeshadows

Since my last post, I have continued testing out the Mint Melt eyeshadows.

Here are three simple looks I have created:

Look One:

I used all four shadows in the “Mint to Be” palette, but I specifically wanted to test the green matte in this look.

I started by applying that shade all over my lid.

I had to pack on a lot of the mint green for a it to show up because it is one of the chalkier shades.

I also chose to use an eyeshadow primer beforehand to help make this process easier. I was able to make the shadow work fairly well; it just took some time to get it to really show up.

I then darkened the look with the grey matte shade on my crease and toward the outer edge of my eye.

I blended out the shadow in a cat eye shape, but you could also use tape to help create a sharper edge.

I finished off the look with placing the green shimmer in the inner corner of my eyes.

I really love the way this look came out. It feels super cute and radiant.

In all three looks, I am wearing Ardell magnetic eyelashes #110 (review coming soon).

Look Two:

For this look, I switched things up a bit and used all the shadows in the “Chocolate Mint” palette.

I started out by blending the dark brown shade on the outer edge of my eye.

I used the light brown shade to buff out the dark shadow.

I then used an angled brush with the dark brown shadow to create a winged liner look.

To finish it off, I put a bit of the green shimmer on my inner corner.

This is more of an “everyday” look, but I really like the way it looks.

I think the pop of green in the inner corner is subtle, but it makes the look so much more interesting.

Look Three:

For this last look, I wanted to do some line work.

I started off by packing on the green shimmer and the mint shade from the “Mint to Be” palette. I used a flat brush to shape a curved line above my crease.

I did this somewhat messy because after I added the shadow, I used a cotton swab and micellular water to clean up the line.

I then used the same shadows to draw a line below my lower lashes.

I completed the look by using an angled brush and the dark brown shade from the “Chocolate Mint” palette to draw a wing. I also added a hint of the peach shimmer from the “Chocolate Mint” palette below my brow.

I really like the way this look makes my eyes pop. I also really like the eccentric vibes this look gives off.

  1. I love these looks you created! It’s so nice how you can create such good and luxury looks with simple eyeshadow palettes like this one. I love the colors that were incorporated so next time I see this product in the store I’m definitely going to purchase it!
