I put 2 STRANGERS on a blind date!!!

My blind date video on YouTube is definitely both entertaining and informative because there are moments to laugh at but to also learn from. And for anyone that has never been on a blind date, they can see how fun it could be from the sidelines.

By incorporating humor, I also made the two strangers feel more comfortable. Coming into this they didn’t know eachother so of course making them laugh or at least trying to might help them loosen up. Also incorporating myself in the date by giving them questions to answer helped them learn more about each other while I also was able to include my ideas into the video. 

The fact that these are real people who actually don’t know each other and can’t see each other until the end of the video also adds some suspense for them and the viewers. The entire time they are thinking about who this is and if they’ll like them when they see them. This is very similar to the show “Love Is Blind” on Netflix as well, being that they can only hear each other’s voices.

At the same time, this can also be considered relatable content. Many people date and get to know each other in college so this can be very interesting to college students. To see people just like them apart of this experience can also make them feel more interested. People are also very nosey and love to know about other people’s love life. This gives them something to be curious about.

My blind date video is also very informative because it  provides helpful tips when it comes to knowing how to approach a blind date and how to engage in interesting and engaging conversation. By watching this video people could possibly be more prepared if they ever went on a blind date. As far as knowing when to talk and explain and when to not talk as much. People could also know to have their own questions based on their personal interests.
