Easy Meals/Snacks: Pickle Pizza

You guessed it!

More pickle recipes…

You should be excited because this is my favorite one yet.

Before we get into this let me tell you why I decided to make a pickle pizza.

I was in Syracuse, NY for a concert last April.

(Red Hot Chili Peppers, best day of my life)

Before the concert, dinner was a must.

There was a pickle pizza on the menu at the restaurant.

I wish I remembered where I was because this changed my life.

Who would have thought…PICKLES ON PIZZA!

News flash, someone did and I hope their pillow is always the right temperature at night.

That’s what they deserve.

So I easily made myself a pickle pizza with only a few ingredients.

Needed Ingredients:

Flatbread/pizza dough – Your choice, a pre-baked flatbread was easy for me!

Pickle Chips – Your choice, I chose hot and sweet pickles.

Ranch Dressing

Mozzarella Shredded Cheese

Now this is simple…coming from someone who is teaching themselves how to cook.

Before starting you want to set your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.

Now I’m no expert but I do work at a pizza place for my part-time job.

So I do know a thing or two about pizza and our oven is at 400 degrees fahrenheit.

Don’t quote me but that temperature seems about right to me so let’s go with it!

I placed my flatbread on a baking pan and then proceeded to coat the flatbread in ranch dressing.

Instead of red sauce, ranch dressing is used to replace that. Trust the process.

After applying the ranch dressing, then place your pickles on your flatbread.

I placed my pickles on paper towels first to soak up the pickle juice.

You don’t have to do this, I didn’t know if the flatbread would get soggy or not.

Add as many or as few as you would like. I went crazy with my pickles.

After placing your pickles, take your cheese and cover your pickles.

You could barely see my pickles because of how much cheese I used.

Once again this is also preference, I’m also a big fan of cheese so the more the merrier.

Lastly, place your flatbread pickle pizza in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

I waited until the cheese on top started to get a little brown, that’s my preference.

Once your cheese is melted you are ready to eat!

For my ranch lovers, use the extra ranch to dip into your pizza, you’ll thank me later.

Also for those who love appearance, you can drizzle ranch on top to be extra fancy.

I didn’t do that but it sounds like a good idea.

There are better recipes out on the internet but I put this together from what my tastebuds remembered from a year ago.

I think I nailed it pretty well.

Experiment and have fun, I know next time I’ll be adding banana peppers.

Oh, or maybe even pickled jalapenos.

This was easy for me to put together and not expensive for those who aren’t looking to spend a lot of money.

I hope you try this out and add anything you’d like!
