Easy Meal: Personal Pasta

Bring the Italian restaurant right to your kitchen!

This may be self-explanatory and not anything new, but personal pasta is a go-to easy meal for me.

You can make whatever pasta you want with whatever sauce you would like to use.

I use whatever I can find in my pantry and go with it.

I start but taking a bowl I’ll be eating out of and pouring the amount of pasta I would like.

You can make a whole box of pasta but I’m bad with leftovers and the chances of me finishing the leftovers before they go bad are very low.

That’s why it’s personal pasta, like a personal pizza, the perfect amount.

By doing this I don’t waste food or forget that I have a whole box of pasta cooked ready to eat in my fridge.

For my example shown, I used a vodka sauce and rotini pasta.

Once again I’m not a professional, but I do know you have to salt your water when making pasta.

I don’t really know what that does, that’s just what I’ve known growing up, so in case you didn’t know, now you do.

After my pasta was done cooking I added my sauce and layered mozzarella cheese on top.

I then placed my bowl of pasta in the microwave and cooked it until my cheese was melted.

This is the perfect Italian dish when you don’t feel like making anything but want a meal that tastes like home.

Also, like I said before it’s the perfect amount for what you’re in the mood for.

Sometimes I have a good amount of pasta while other times I just needed a little pick me up and I had a craving.

Another pro about this is you will have everything ready to be cooked and put together for the next time.

Food doesn’t go bad as fast when it’s not cooked.
