This is another simple lunch or dinner to put together!
All of my ingredients were purchased from Aldi grocery store, the perfect grocery store for college students…in my opinion.
I love grilled cheese and could eat it every single day.
There’s just something about cheese melted in between bread that always tastes so perfect.
While grocery shopping I picked up pre-cooked shredded rotisserie chicken.
Being prepared already for me I knew this was right up my alley.
Also a fun fact no one cares about, I only eat chicken, so I don’t get the appropriate amount of protein in my diet usually.
As a chicken eater, rotisserie chicken is amazing so I knew I had to buy it.
The first thing I knew I wanted to make was a chicken grilled cheese sandwich.
This probably has its own name already but this is what I have been calling it.

Proceed to make a grilled cheese as you would but just add the chicken into the mix.
On the side I heated up roasted red pepper tomato soup to dip my sandwich in.
When Aldi doesn’t have my roasted red pepper tomato soup I will use hot sauce or ketchup.
Another fun fact is I love dipping sauce, whatever meal it is, is there something I can dip it in?
I don’t know if that’s just me, dip just always adds.
I’m also not a big tomato soup girl but the roasted red pepper overpowers the tomato taste.
I will shout out my mother for introducing me to this soup, it’s just so good, and can be used in other meals!
This meal takes about five to eight minutes to make and adds more protein to an old simple meal.
You can substitute anything I use because this is all preference.
I loved taking a meal I could eat everyday and adjusted it to taste even better, and got my
fill of protein.
