Hi everyone, happy Monday! This week I am talking about female characters who I\u2019d love to start friendships with! These are my top five favorite women in the books I\u2019ve read: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Annie Walker from the novel \u201cPractice Makes Perfect\u201d by Sarah Adams seemed like an angel on earth. Not only did she own a flower shop, which is such a cute way to make a living, she also lived in a small town where everyone loved her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I also related to her character because everyone around her expected her to be a certain way which they experienced throughout her life, but she feels trapped in the boxes the townspeople created for her. Soft spoken, kind people tend to look crazy if they step outside of that neat box that people put them in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I just thought she was the sweetest character!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Billy Dunne\u2019s wife in the novel \u201cDaisy Jones and The Six\u201d was named Camilla, and she was the ultimate girl\u2019s girl. To be a girl\u2019s girl, you need to be one hundred percent on the side of all girls no matter what, and that was Camilla. I just loved how strong her character is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the band took off, Billy struggled with addiction. He cheated on her, which bothered me immensely, but she told him if he didn\u2019t clean himself up, they were done. She stuck to her word the whole book, and never did anything that felt like a red flag.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, when Karen, the keyboard player in the band has a very personal issue (I won\u2019t spoil anything), Camilla is there for her in several ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of all of this, I think she would be such a good friend to have. Her character was incredibly selfless especially in the end when she tells Billy to give Daisy a call.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please read this book, you\u2019ll love Camilla Dunne and want her to be your best friend too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liz from \u201cBetter Than the Movies\u201d loves music, Converse, rom coms, and cute clothes. What\u2019s not to like? I just adored her hopeless romantic energy. Her scheme to win the attention of her crush did cause her to treat her best friend sort of badly at times. However, she still seemed like the kind of friend you would love to have in your life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, the dialogue in this book is great, and Liz is genuinely funny. I cannot say that about other protagonists!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hear me out. Even though the fake-dating premise of \u201cThe Love Hypothesis\u201d is kind of unrealistic, Olive\u2019s bumbling nervousness is kind of endearing. She does lie to her friend, nothing major, but I love how kind and hard-working she is overall.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is also a graduate student working in a male dominated field, so I love that toughness about her character.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I can see why Adam loved her!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Louisa from \u201cMe Before You\u201d is one of the cutest female book characters. Her love and joy radiates off the pages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She took on an extremely difficult job and somehow made a very lost and damaged man fall in love with her. Not easy to do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This character is funny, witty, and realistic. I could see myself being besties with Louisa Clark!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
