The Ramen Renaissance: Vegetable Stir Fry

This tasty Ramen Vegetable Stir-Fry will up your ramen game since it combines the health of fresh vegetables with the ease of instant noodles in a quick and colorful dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of instant ramen noodles (any flavor)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Optional: protein of choice (such as tofu, shrimp, chicken, or beef)
  • Instructions:
  • Prepare Ramen Noodles:
    • Cook the instant ramen noodles according to package instructions, but do not add the seasoning packet yet. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook Protein (if using):
    • If you’re adding protein to your stir-fry, cook it in a separate pan according to your preferred method. Set aside once cooked.
  • Stir-Fry Vegetables:
    • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet with the stir-fried vegetables.
    • Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the noodles and vegetables.
    • If using cooked protein, add it to the skillet as well.
  • Stir and Serve:
    • Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
    • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more soy sauce or sesame oil as desired.
